The popular jazz artist Meghan Stabile died today on 15 June 2022 at the age of 36.
Thundercat Meghan aka Meghan Stabile is the President and CEO of the Revive Music Group.
She is popular for combining improvisational jazz and hip-hop to change the course of jazz music.
Meghan is an alumnus of Berkley College of Music.
In New York Times feature she was described as a strange woman on a mission, which is to make jazz music relevant. Meghan was handpicked and signed by president Don Was as an executive producer for Blue Note Records.
Further, Stabile continues her role as a creative and brand consultant for many independent artists and tries to help grow the global jazz scene community with the help of annual concert productions in partnership with presenters, festivals, and organizations worldwide.
Revive Music Group, founded by Stabile, has collaborated with Blue Note Records on albums by Otis Brown III, Marcus Strickland's Twi-Life as well as the first partnered label anthology with 40+ musicians, to name a few.
