Dylan plays Topher Abar in the American superhero drama television series Watchmen. It is a television program that continues the same-named 1987 DC Comics limited series.

Dylan plays with Regina King, Don Jashon, Tim Blake Nelson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Howard, Jacob Ming-Trent, Tom Mison, and Sara Vickers, among others.

In the film, Topher Abar is the Adopted son of Cal Abar(Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and Angela Bar(Regina King). Topher and their sister Emma hide in a closet while watching their parents brutally murder, and Topher is traumatized by the incident. 

When a guest speaker, Angela Abar, also known as Sister Night, happens to be his mother, he confronts a fellow student who makes a racist remark (Regina King).
