6. Botanical Garden

The botanical garden, located in Balboa Park was constructed in 1915. There is a huge lily pond and is one of the largest lath structures in the world. You can get lost in nature with the impressive  varieties of rare flora. The architecture of the building is very impressive. Its one of the most photographed places in Balboa park.

7. Queen Calafia’s Magic Circle

Queen Calafia’s magic Circle, located in Kit Carson Park in Encinitasas, is the last international work created by the French- American sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle.  The magic circle consists of 9 large colorful sculptures contained with a mosaic snake wall and has a quirky and fantastical experience.
